Leo Hosh

Program Director, Children’s Vision

Leo serves as Program Director for Children’s Vision Health, leading the organization’s Bright Eyes children’s vision screening program and the Glasses4Scholars mobile vision health clinic. He provides strategic leadership for POB’s children’s vision initiatives, guiding program design, partnerships, and operational execution to expand access to vision care for underserved children. Leo works closely with school districts, faith communities, and community organizations to ensure children receive high-quality vision screenings, eye exams, and eyeglasses that support their health and academic success.

With more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience, Leo brings deep expertise in program strategy, partnership development, system strengthening, and organizational effectiveness. Prior to joining POB, he held senior leadership roles with international nonprofit and multi-national organizations, including World Vision, Pact, The World Bank, and United Nations Development Programme. For the last 15 years, he has led strategic planning, program implementation, and cross-functional teams supporting global child development and protection initiatives, focusing on strengthening programs and systems that improve outcomes for vulnerable children and families.

Leo holds a Master of Science in International Agricultural Development from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor of Science from Bethlehem University.
