Donate Items

The Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington (POB) Look Again Resale Shops accept donations of clean and gently-used clothing and household items, including antiques, furniture, bric-a-brac, collectibles, and books.

In evaluating appropriate donations, a good rule of thumb is to consider whether your family or friends would find the item(s) useful if you passed that item on to them. We ask that items be clean (free of any stains, tears, and pet damage), not broken, and sellable. Please bring donations in containers or bags of manageable size.

We recommend you keep a detailed list of the items that you donate. Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Please ask for a tax receipt at the time of donation.

Our shoppers especially love vintage home decor, small antique and vintage furniture, brand-name clothing (modern and vintage), fine gold and sterling jewelry, dishware, and artwork!
