Building Entry Instructions:
This building uses a controlled entry system to protect the safety and privacy of visitors and staff.
To enter the building:
1. Approach the main entrance, which has a set of double glass doors. The building number “415” is mounted above the doors.
2. On the wall to the left of the doors is a touchscreen entry panel. The screen displays “Welcome! Tap to Enter.”
3. Tap the screen to activate it, then tap Visitors.
4. Tap Prevention of Blindness Society, which is listed second, and then tap Call.
5. When connected, tell the staff member you have arrived for your appointment.
6. A staff member will unlock the door remotely. After it is unlocked, you may pull the door handle to open it manually, or wave your hand in front of the small silver square sensor below the intercom to open it automatically.
If you are unable to use the touchscreen, there is a small tactile button on the bottom edge of the intercom, directly below the screen. Press this button to connect with building staff.
