Children’s Vision Health Summit (Official Date Pending)
The Children’s Vision Health Summit is a new program that will increase public awareness and interest in children’s vision health. Our organization views healthy vision as a public health issue. We will bring together school nurses, pediatric and community health providers, education officials, and community-based partners to collaborate and explore strategies to improve the vision of children in Metropolitan Washington. The virtual Summit will feature multiple research presentations and interactive sessions focused on key topics in children’s vision health. POB will educate these stakeholders on the role that healthy vision plays in a student’s academic success, as well as the barriers to quality vision care services. Join us!
