Come see our upgraded assistive technology devices, meet our three Low Vision doctors, try Ray-Ban Meta AI glasses, and watch a Waymo self-driving car in action! Whether you are a client, family member, donor, partner, or community supporter, we would love to have you join us. Join us on Sunday, October 18, from 1 - 2:30 p.m., for an afternoon at the Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington, a chance to connect with our team and learn more about the full range of programs we offer. Tour our space, a facility specially designed for people with vision impairments, and meet the POB team, including Dr. Suleiman Alibhai, Dr. Peyam Mojallal, and Dr. Jennifer Wood, our newest optometrist, along with our Low Vision Resource Navigators and staff across our programs. Come see a Waymo self-driving car up close. Light refreshments will be served.
