autographed photos. The glasses and
photos are attractively mounted and are sensational conversation pieces in any
office or home as well as make a “one-of-a-kind” holiday gift.
Celebrity Specs is a fundraising and
awareness project for the Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan
If you wear
prescription glasses, you know their importance. Do you know the importance of ultra-violet
coated sunglasses? Prolonged exposure to
the sun’s rays can increase your risk of developing macular degeneration
(AMD), accelerate cataract growth, cause cancer of the eyelid and surrounding
skin, contribute to the development of benign growths on the surface of the
eye, and cause painful temporary sunburn of the surface of the eye. POB has created the Celebrity Specs program as a fun way of making people aware of the
importance of eyeglasses and sunglasses as something more than just a fashion
statement that enhances vision.

contributed to the 2007 event are: Loni Anderson; Hank Bauer; Jake
