The Prevention of
Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington’s “Night of
Vision” was held on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at the Four Seasons Hotel
in Washington, D.C.
At the gala, Robert A.
Copeland, Jr., M.D. received the “Professional
Service Award.”
The 2008 evening
offered GREAT Silent and Live Auction items. POB received generous support by Corporate Sponsors. If you would like to contribute to the 2009
event, please contact POB at 202.234.1010.
If you would like to
receive an invitation to the 2009 gala, call the office and ask to be put on
the invitation list. If you were unable to attend, but would like to make a
contribution in honor of Dr. Copeland, we welcome your support. You can also
help by donating items for the 2009 silent and live auctions. Antiques,
collectibles, tickets to sporting events or theaters are examples of items that
