GLAUCOMA & VISION SCREENING

The Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington (POB) regularly participates in community health fairs and awareness programs throughout the metropolitan area. Visual acuity and glaucoma screenings are available by calling the Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington and requesting participation in an event. POB also has a variety of brochures and pamphlets on various eye conditions that are available upon request.

Health fair participation includes Channel 4’s annual For Your Health Expo, private, local and federal government agencies, places of worship, and civic organizations.
